Alsace, one of France’s premier wine regions, is known for it’s picturesque towns, ample sunshine and world-class wines. The influence left over from when this area was part of Germany is still felt strongly today, not least in the flute-shaped bottles, labels and use of Riesling. In this webinar we will cover Alsace’s history as a wine region and explore its unique climate and wine styles.
During the class we will taste:
Hugel Gentil 2018
Zind-Humbrecht ZIND 2017
Zind-Humbrecht Riesling Roche Calcaire 2016
Optional wine: Jean-Baptiste Adam Cremant d’Alsace Brut
Nicole Ramos, WSET L3, SWS, FWS will present the webinar.
