We look at the different criteria winemakers consider when classifying their wine as a reserava and talk about the few countries who have set regulations winemakers must adhere to in order to use this term.
Is it related to the type of vineyard a wine is made in, or perhaps the barrel types or length of time the wine is stored in them? You probably associate a reserve wine as more premium, so let’s find out once and for all if a reserva is, in fact, just that.
