Next week we talk about the legs of your wine:)
Give it the eye. Pour a glass of wine and observe its color, clarity, brilliance. The best way to view a wine is to hold it at a 45 degree angle against a white background, such as a white piece of paper or tablecloth. Note the intensity of color, presence of sediment or fading of color at the rim. Wine should not be cloudy or hazy. If this is the case it could indicate a problem with the wine. Take your time and appreciate it from all angles.
