Dijon Clones of Pinot Noir refer to clones that originated in Burgundy in France and were brought to the United States by a group of winemakers in the 1960’s and 70’s, originally. They are now used all over the world. Tom Mortimer of Le Cadeau Vineyards in Oregon explains a bit more about them in this educational wine video from Ask a Winemaker.
