When you’re having a dinner party, or a wine tasting session, you should always keep in mind the order of pouring wines.
Ideally you should start with lighter styles, followed by the more full-bodied, heavier styles. Reason being, if you pour heavier styles first, they might make the lighter styles seem dull later on. Similarly, you should always pour your sweet wines last, so the sweetness doesn’t overpower the other wines you’re going to serve.
What is your preferred order of pouring wine? And did this help you? Let me know in the comments below. 💬
