Luego recorrimos las instalaciones aprendiendo sobre el proceso de la producción del vino. De ahí continuamos a la zona de viñedos donde tuvimos la oportunidad de degustar las uvas Malbec. También pudimos ver algunos de los vinos más antiguos de la bodega como el Chateau Vieux Gran Reserva del año 1938.
Después fuimos al restaurante Rincón de Lopez donde almorzamos empanadas, bife de lomo con ensalada y papas al horno, y un delicioso postre de maracuyá – acompañados con tres diferentes variedades de vino. Al final de la visita, bajamos a la cava donde degustamos cuatro vinos más!
Nuestro tour de Bodegas López fue una experiencia muy interesante y divertida, y es algo que les recomendaríamos hacer si visitan Mendoza. Nuestro guía Nicolás fue muy informativo y conocedor, y aprendimos mucho sobre la producción de vino. Esperamos volver a visitar algún día!
We recently had the opportunity to visit Bodegas Lopez, one of the most historic and famous vineyards in Mendoza, Argentina.

Our full day tour started with a complete breakfast that included homemade bread, pastries, jamon crudo, marmalade, butter, orange juice, tea and coffee.
We toured the facilities where wine is produced learning about the entire process. From there, we continued to the vineyard where we had the chance to sample Marlbec grapes. We also got to look at some of the oldest wine at the bodegas like the Chateau Vieux Gran Reserva that dates back to 1938.
For lunch we had a 3-course meal consisting of empanadas, beef with roasted potatoes and salad, and a delicious passion fruit cheesecake – all paired with 3 different types of wine.
The final part of the tour included a special visit to the wine cellar where we sampled four more wines.
Overall, our tour at Bodegas Lopez was a really fun and informative experience that we would recommend to anyone visiting Mendoza! Our guide, Nicolas, was informative, knowledgable and passionate about wines and we learned a lot from him.
We hope to be back again some day!
