One of America’s Best Sommeliers Blind Tastes Cabernets Under $15

Beginner
Patrick Cappiello, the award-winning wine director at Rebelle in New York City, regularly drinks some of the best wines in the world, but we wanted him to drink like us everyday folk. So we went to the supermarket to find Cabernets you can easily get across the country for under $15—Trader Joe’s Charles Shaw, Lindeman’s, Columbia Crest, Beringer, J. Lohr—and had him do a blind taste test. Some were absolutely awful, but some, to his surprise, were actually good. Check out the video to see which wines are a great value the next time you’re at the grocery store and which ones fail miserably.
