The Chardonnay grape produces a wide variety of different tasting wines depending on how their made. This grape is perhaps most commonly associated with Chablis, a French winemaking region that exclusively uses this grape.
In this wine tasting course, we’ll focus on identifying tasting notes in Chardonnay, particularly those that come from oak aging. As you might not realize, some of the flavors in wine come from sources other than grapes (e.g. oak barrels!)
